Importance of ICT in education

Information and communication teachnology plays a catalytic role in enhancing learning in classroom and beyond. It enhance scope of education by facilitating mobile learning and inclusive education. Nowadays it play a vital role in the process of empowering the technology into the educational activities.

The use of ICT in education adds value to teaching and learning, by enhancing the effectiveness of learning. It add dimension to learning that was not previously available and students find learning in a technology more stimulating and engaging than a traditional classroom teaching. It help students to think independently, communicate creatively and it also help students for building successful careers and lives in an increasingly technological world.

Today we see technology everywhere we go and there is more and more emphasis on its use in society due to the capacity and abilitu of it. ICT has tremendous potential to help the world overcome lingering social issues for example ICT is playing major role in the global pandemic that is happening this year all over the world.

ICT  will continue to be significant part of our future as it connects itself to more parts of our lives. So as a future teacher we can take the initiative and integrate more use of ICT into the curriculum.
